News 10 June 2009

Dear Supervoss participant,

In about 10 days we will start our meeting in Sassone. I would like to give you some piece of information that you can find useful. The order reflects a kind of priority ;-)

Swimming pool
There is a swimming pool available for 3 EUR per day between 9 am and 5pm. As you can imagine I wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to give this information.

Arrival on Sunday 21
On Sunday the reception of Il Carmelo will be open all day. The only meal that will be served on Sunday will be dinner at 19:30.

Oral Presentations
Please bring your presentation in a stick memory and give it to Guy Consolmagno before the session in which you give a talk starts. There will be a PC and Mac available. We won’t to connect your laptop to the projector. In this way we save time and technical problems.

Poster presentations
The area available for your poster is 102 cm x 123 cm.

If I may say something about the scientific presentations, remember that only few participants are working in your field. If you are too specific, most of participants won’t follow you.

Taxi
If you take a taxi, from Fiumicino Airport you shouldn’t pay more than 60 EUR and no more than 25 EUR from Ciampino Airport. Check the fair with the driver before you take the taxi.

Social program
In the evening of Tuesday 23 June evening at 21:00 we will have a concert by Reham Fayed and Sharon Cohen from the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra.
